Daviason, principal of the university school of agriculture, died at a local hospital early last Sunday- morning, JJe Jiad beenalck lor some time, but his condition was not considered dangerous until Saturday, when lie was removed o a hospital. The funeral was held Tuesday from the Tamlly residence. The school of agriculture has grown during the administration of Principal Davlsson. Reso lutions of appreciation of the work of Professor Davlsson and of sympathy for Mrs. Davlsson were adopted by the board of regents nt the Tuesday meet ing. Mrs. Davlsson will be acting princi pal of the school for the rest of this year. She helped -her husband a great deal and Is thoroughly familiar with the duties of the office.
