- During the second semester's regis
tration, every male student at tho city
campus was asked, "Did 'you do any
work, last semester, for which you re
ceived pay?" Th'is brought out the
surprising fact that out of 1,242 men,
exclusive of those in the dental and
graduate colleges, 612 are engaged in
remunerative' WbrK-r 49.3 per cent.
The results as shown by the tables
which follow are startling, even to
co-operation and help of tho univer
sity authorities.
Up to March 30 the bureau has se
cured work for 235 different men. It
has handled 282 positions in all; 24
of these were not filled by the bureau
because the jobs wero given to other
parties or the timo could not .be arranged,
