Clarence A. Pulmor was elected
chancellor of Nebraska Wesleyan uni
versity at a meeting of tho board of
trustees Thursday afternoon. He is
a graduate of tho school whloh he
now leads, and In 1010 had tho
honorary degree of M. A. conferred
on, him by the University of Nebras
ka. Mr. Pulmor has acted In tho
capacity of chancellor since the res
ignation of V. J. Davidson. He was
once before considered for this posi
tion but refused because of inexperi
ence. Ho has been dean of the lib
eral arts college for two years, and
has had a wide experience as teacher
In high schools over tho state. '
