Board of Directors Decides to Adopt
More Progressive Policy.
Yostorday at a long drawn out meet
ing of tho board fcf directors of tho
student Y. M. C. A. a policy of a
broador work was adopted. Noxt year
the college association 1b to have two
secretaries in stead of one as In tho
post. A. J. Elliott, international Btu
dont secretary, was hero yesterday to
confer with tho board. Two meetings
were held to consider tho proposition.
Tho board mot at 2 o'clock and ad
journed at 5 o'clock to moot again in
the evening. After two hours of de
liberation tho board unanimously
voted to adopt a policy of a more
progressive and aggressive work for
noxt winter.
A general secretary is, to bo called
to All the place made vacant by tho
resignation of J. L. Dor Kindoren.
Another man is also to be chosen to
assist him in tho greator work, being
known as tho "special secretary."

Finishing Touches of Junior Play Re
quire Much Time.
Tho final rehoarsols of "A Messago

from MurB" aro now being held in the
Oliver theater preparatory to the final
production next Saturday night. Tho
lines have nil been committed and for
the most part tho heavy work is over.
Five to six hours a day aro being
spent in putting on tho finishing
touches. Yesterday afternoon tho first
rehearsals In tho Oliver proved a great
success. Tho parts havo boon well
mastered and those present wore
agreeably surprised with tho results.
Daily practice will now bo in order at
tho Oliver theater for the rest of the
week.
