thoy are gono like tho ghosts of a

over tho campus for only n moment,
and were these warlike rumors only a

Whatever It may bo, tho furor has

We bellovo there is at present a
marked trend in tho direction of a

a spirit that actually does disregard

Among tho signs from which wo de

that thoy come from two of tho oldest

has como to a realization that a "vis

of club lint-bands and ties for tho pur

tho university, nnd tho custom lias

havo found that their annual ball was
bocomlng a mero function of oxpenslve

domocracy of tho class event was lost.
So BtcpB havo been taken to eliminate
ono of these useless forms, the pre
