three separate donations of $1,000 each
to the fiuid which will be used for the
aiding of men of tills institution whose
efforts to gain an education and a
livelihood at the Bnme time were un
successful. Tho' requirements under
which the fund will be used have not
as yet been given out, but it is known
that tho attempts of these men to aid
tho students themselves Is ti thing
which is appreciated by the undergrad
uate body, and each one gives thanks
to tlie men who have so remembered
that the university student is one who
often attempts to inuko his wny in the
world without the assistance of others.

Union memorial services in memory
of tlie late Brigadier General E. S.
Dudley, U. S. A., will be held Friday
afternoon at 3:30 o'clock-iii St. Paul's
church.
Social.
The annual senior masquerade will
bo held Saturday evening, January 21,
in the Temple.
Tho Junior hop will bo held at the
Lincoln, Friday, January 20th.
Final .Examinations.
' The finnl examinations for the first
semester will he held during tho week
of anunry 30-Februqry -1. Registra
tions for the second semester will also
be made during that week.
