"THE. KISSING GIRL"
A musical comedy of grout strength
Is "Tho Kissing Girl," by StnnlBlmiB
Stango Botli author and composer
have much to. their credit. Mr. Stange
has Hiiplied the widely divergent
cleverness of Lulu Glasor, Lillian
Russell, Frltzl Schorr, and Mine.
Schunmn-Heiuk with books and lyrics
that proved successful. Mr. Van Til
zpr has caught popular fancy in a set
of jingles with hero and thoro com
positions of sterling merit nnd have
pleasgd the best of musical intellect,
It is u combination of tnlent that
should bring forward a lighter mus
ical work of much excellence. Tho
Cort Theatre Company promises a
production of surpassing beauty, with
the entire original production as UBcd
in tho Chicago presentation during Its
long run thoro. In' tho selection of
principals for "Tho Kissing Girl" they
have shown great discrimination, for
tho localo of tho opera's romance Hob
on 'tho boundary lino of Austria and
Bohemia which calls for adroit dla-
lect interpretations. The title rolo
will go to Texns Giflnan with Tom
