FINAL EXAMINATIONS.
Tho approach of tho week when
final examinations will bo held be
hooves ovory undergraduate of tho
unlvorslty to work, and work hard.
This Is tho period when men and wo
men may make a success or a failure
of their college career. In past years
tho exodus of a largo number of stu
dents from the university at tho close
of the ,flnqV examination period is ncrt
only detrimental to the school in a
way, but to those students as well.
TJhey may bo allowed to return tho fol
lowing fall, but they havo lost a year,
and a year which is lost means tho
chanco has gone by to got through
school that much earlier, to say noth
.. ing of tho valuable time which is wast
, ed. Tho effort of evory student should
be centered in making passing marks,
not alono for their own benefit, but
for tho beat interests of the university
as a whole.
THE GRADUATE CLUB.
The attempts of interested parties
to keep tho Graduate club in existence
should bo met with support on every
hand. A move of this sort is only for
the best interests of tne school. When
-Tnen-ana-women-of mature-Judgment

Sinco tho club has boon given this
date for tho proBontlon of their play,
It is only fair that tho students glvo It

Cornhusker banquet It is a fair prop
osition, and while it is "on tho other

theless it is only just that tho club bo

worked hard and their efforts deserve
credit.
