Attention of Students Is Called to Uni
versity Events.
A notice is to ho sent to university
organizations calling attention to the
list of events which have heoa sched
uled for the next few weeks, and if
possible all clubs, societies and othor
organizations aro requested to keep
these dates free. A play by the Dra
matic club, "Mice and Men," has been
scheduled-for-Janu8fry 14J Following
this charter day with its usual number
of exercises including the mid-year
commencement will be had February
15. "University Night," an affair which
will be held February 17. The senior
play, has been scheduled for May 27.
This leaveB Ivy day as the only ovent
for which the date has not been an
nounced, and there are probably no
other university events during the re
mainder of the school year for which
a free date would seem especially de
sirable. Other public e'vents which
have' been arranged for until tho mid
dle of March are as follows: Junior
hopr-January-SOt-Ames-Nebraska-baB-
ketbalr, January 20 and 21; senior
masquerade, January 21; senior prom
enade, February 10; sophomore-freshman
athletic meet, February 11; Sig
ma XI oration, February 14; Kansas
Nebraska basketball, February 24 'and
25; junior promenade, March 17;
Junior play, March 18.

The Mathematical Seminar will
meet Wednesday, Jan. 11th, at 4:30
