-MAY-CHANGE-RULESr
Interfraternity Council to Discuss
Probable Changes.
At the meeting of tho Interfraternity
council which is scheduled for Wed
nesdny evening matters regarding the
changing of the fraternity "rushing"
rules will probably be brought up and
the nintter decided. It has been pro
posed thnt a rule be passed allowing
no new students to be "pledged" until
they have the full number of entrance
credits, thlrtv, and no student be In
itiated until they have completed
twelve hours or university work. An
other change , suggested is thnt all
"rushing" be conllned to the entire
first semester, and thit no student he
"pledged" until that period of. time has
elapsed, it is possible that the rules
may be passed, hut a number of fra
ternities oppose them on tho ground?

new students is too long. The "rush!
'lug" season at the present time lasts
but ten days.
