First University Dance of the Year
Held Friday Evening by Upper
Classmen.
Tho first informal danco of tho uni-.
vorsity social season was held. Friday
evening at tho Lincoln hotel. Every
ticket which tho committee had was
taken. About two hundred couples
were in attendance. Tho hop was con
sidered very successful. Harold Nobel
was chajnnan of tho dancp and Earl
Leo was master of ceremonies.
Several other university dances have
been scheduled for the coming weeks.
The next danco on tho program will
bo tho sophomore hop, which will be
given Saturday ovening, November 19,
at tho same place as was the sonlor
informal.
