Ending.
In Jiccordunce with the arrange
ments made this year by the con
vocation committee, the junior
cIubh will present a special pro
gram next Tuesday at the regu
lar convocation hour. The pro
gram will consist of a one-act
comedy entitled "Obstinacy," by
Annie Peacock. The play was
originally in tho German, but has
been adapted for presentation in
the English. The production is
to be staged at the Temple the
ater and the curtain will rise
promptly at 11:10. This will
give every one time to get to the
Temple before the play begins.
About forty minutes will be re
quired for the play and those
who have ll':30 classes Bhould
get excused so it will not be nec
essary to interrupt the play by
leaving.
The play takes place at the
home of Robert and Grace Aus
tin, just married. They have, in
fact, just returned from their
honeymoon. They have two ne
gro servants, George and Liz
zie, who have a quarrel over a
quotation. Robert tells the inci
dent to bis wife, and they quar
rel over the same quotation.
Their quarrel is much more seri
ous than the other one. The
father and mother of Mrs. Austin
arrive at this time and they de
cidedly )differ -aslaS the quota
tion. Ifany ludi rous situations
fill the play, whic 1 finally has an
unexpected ending.

Thursday evening, May 26. at 8
o'clock, at their future home,
1925 ,So. 13th street, 'Rev. Batton
of the First Baptist church offi
ciating. About seventy-five close
Iriends, including MissVibbard's
cabinet girls of the Y. "W. C. A.,
witnessed the ceremony, and a
great many more were present at
the reception immediately follow
ing. The house was beautifully
decorated in American roses and
snulax. Miss Vibbard, unattend
ed, wore a white gown trimmed
in hand-made lace, and carried n
bouquet of lilies-of-the-voHey. The
couple left after the reception
for a short trip, and will return
in a few days. Mrs. Brpwn will
conclude hef work in the Y. W.
. A., and this summer they will
make an extended tour.
Mrv Brown is a member of the
A. D. Ben way Furniture Co. of
this city. Miss Vibbard has been
for five years the general secre
tary of the university Y. W. 0.
A. -and has secured a firm place
in tho affections and respect of'
the girls. She closes a most sat
isfactory career with the university!
