of agriculture. A special train
over the Burlington will luring
Hie crowd to Lincoln. The tram
will gather the people from
nearly every town in the county.
The trip "is under the supervision
of County Superintendent Posey
of Thayer county.
.The object of this excursion is
to ' get the boys and girls and
parents , acquainted with these
two institutions and more faiilU
iar with the work done here.
State Superintendent Bishop will
act as guide for the party while
in Lincoln. The crowd will
gome1" to the university, whore
they will be welcomed by Head
Dean Bessey. Everyone is ox-
pceted to bring their own dinndr
and cat it on the farm campus.
A number of professors are fix
ing up special exhibits and plan
ning a number of instructive
displays. On the campus here
all the buildings will le visited.
At the farm Professor Smith will
give a talk on animal husbaudrv
and demonstrate it with some of
his choice animals. Professor
Chase will show how instruction
is given itt blacksmithing and
carpentering. The woman's
building will be visiter and the
dairy barns, The party will ar
rive about 10 a. in. and start on
the return trip about 7 p. in. -
