Second Candidate for Managing Editor
Qf-Cornhusker Appears.
YeBterday afternoon R. V. Curtis of
Omaha announced that ho was a can
didate for the position of managing
editor or the Cornhnskor. With his
announcement politics in the sopho
more class takes on a nqw aspect.
Provlous to this time but ono candi
date had appeared in the field, and
this was D. B. Van Dusen of South
Oirfahu.
Meanwhile the race between G. C.
Klddoo of South Omaha and C. L.
Clark pr Lincoln for the position of
business manager of tho Cornhuskor
continuos. These last two men an
nounced that they were candidates for
this position about a week ago and
hoy havo been actively campaigning
since that time.
Tho election for these positions on
the Cornhusker will bo hold next
Thursday morning. Tho men selected
at this time will hold office noxt year
and will bo In charge of tho work, of
tho publication noxt year.
Van Dusen is a momber of tho Phi
Delta Theta fraternity and is second
sergeant of company K. Curtis is a
J momber of the Alpha Theta Chi rra-
ternlty and was member or the Ne
braskan staff last semester. He has
been very active' in class politics since
entering school. '
Kiddoo, one of the candidates for
business1 manager of the Cornhusker,
is a member of tho Phi Kappa Psl fra
ternity and has had experience in this
work, as he is business manager of tho
pally Nebraskan at the present time.
Clark, tho other candidateis a"barb"
and a graduate of the Lincoln high
