Thursdays.
Final judgment has boen passed on
the senior play oast. It will not be
changed nor will thoro bo another
try-out.
A rumor was circulated on the cam
pus yesterday to the effect that an
other Borlos of try-outs would bo hold
lfi abbiit two Weeks and a nbw cast
selected. It wbb said that tho glrlH
on tho cast wero dlssatisflod with ono
of tho girlB and that tho boyB woro
dissatisfied with ono of tho boys. It
was alleged that this dissatisfaction
wns caused by the fuct that tho girls
had nothing to do with tho Boloctlon
of tho girls In the cast, nor did the
boys have any part in the selection of
tho male characters; Gonsoquently-
now try-qu,ta woro to bo hold and a
now cast to bo selected by judges
who were not students.
The Committee Met.
Tho play committee hold a moot
ing yesterday morning at 11:30. At
this meeting it was definitely decided
that thoro would not be now try-outs.
In order to sntlsfy all who are dis
satisfied with tho cast as it now stands
tho committee decided to inaugurate
a system of undorstudios. Under this
system any ono who bolloves that any
membqr or tho cast, as it now stands,
Is Incompetent, may appear at tlty re
hearsals, and if thoy proyo thomsolves
moro compotent they will bo substi
tuted. It is boljoved that this will
meet with 'the approyal of ovorybody.
