barnyard manure should bo returned
to tho land. Even if these precautions
bo observed thoro will bo a steady do
clino in tho cultivated Holds unless
legumes (clover or alfalfa) bo grown
or tho produco of other fields bo fed
and tho manure applied. By growing
clover or alfalfa tho nltrogon and or
ganic matter may bo increased at tho
same time that a profitable crop Is obtained.
