Announcements have bon received of tho opening of the J. G. Brill com pany contests for prizes on sonlor en gineering thesis. The subject for the 1910 competition is "DoHlgn of an Elec tric Railway Car for City Service." Tho prizes will bo three in number, as follows: (1) Two hundred and fifty dollars and the John A.
