students are turned loose in a narrow
hallway during tho "botwoon class
recesses" tho other classes have kept
to their rooms and been vory mucli
disturbed by the discussions and ac
tion of their fellow students In tho
halls.
As a sequel to tho actions of Thurs
day morning summary action hns boon
taken to provent any further unfair
intorforonco of tho classes or other
departments. Tho law faculty is be
ing backed In this movo by the law'
students themselves. At 'a mooting'
of tho freshman Jaw class Friday
morning, It was voted that tho general

place at night. A commlttoo of tho

governing the annual freshman-sophomore
rush, and submitted them to
tho senate, togothor. with every avail
able argument for tho preservation of
n night rush. But tho sehnto has re
fused to allow such a contest after
dark, owing to the adverse sentiment
throughout tho state.

on tho campus, beginning at 7:30
o'clock and 'continuing only twenty
minutes instead of thirty as hereto
