botany Saturday. Mr. Roborts will

For the past few days many of tho
university studonts and faculty mem
bers have taken advantago of tho ex
cellent duck hunting In tho nearby
lakes. Mnny have visited tho vicinity
of Ceresco and the lakes north of
Havelock, and have had oxcellont
luck.

The botanical department has pro
pared a largo number of specimens
of the gonuB Panlcum for shipment to
tho national herbarium at Washington,
D. C. The plants will bo used In tho
preparation of a work on grasses un
der tho direction of tho United States
department of agriculture.
The members of tho Forest Club
held their first dance in tho Tomplo
Saturday evening. About forty
couples wero in attendance. It is
very probable that a dance given by
this organization will become an an
nual event.

the office of tho registrar that Bryn
Mawr college Is offering twelvo resi
dent fellowships and twenty graduate

City, Neb., in regard to the peach crop
