tho junior two-yard lino, a lino, buSk
failed) and the Juniors, took the bali
arid puntpd out of danger. ,
Tho seniors attempted to drop kick
which failed and the junior's kicked
out from their 26'yard llno.P The sen
iors recovered the ball on tholr own
00-yard lino and never lost possession
of It until they had pushed It over
for the first touchdown. Bell punted
out to tfarrott but Wangerlcn failed
to kick goal. Scoro: Seniors, 5; jun
iors, 0.
That ended tho scoring for the first
half and apparently for the game until
Woods pulled off his sensational run
at the very close of the contest. Both
teams used sevoral substitutes In tho
second half and tho gamo was just as
fierce as before but the juniors Were
unable to overcomo tho lead which
the seniors had obtained.
Varsity Is Ready.
The varsity squad had secret prac
tice again last ovenlng nt Antelopo
park and they appear to be in tho
pink of condition for tho Wabash
gumo tomorrow. Thoy have had a
long rest since their last .hard con
test, and thoy havo not' only Improved
wonderfully In condition but have
learned several new" formations which
they will bo ablo to spring on the
"Llttlo Glhnts" in tomorrow's contest.
Coach Colo, as woll as all tho play
ers, expect a hard game and thoy are
far from being over confident as to
the outcome. The Wabash aggrega
tion are outwolghed by tho Corn
huBkors but they are touted to. bo one
of tho fastest bunches in the west and
tholr fiorco tackling, a weak point for
tho Nebraskans, haB this year been
the undoing of their opponents.
Walter Eckersall, who has officiated
in two of tholr games, says that they
havo a Btrong team ahd will give any
aggregation a hard rub.
