So far as tho game with Wisconsin
is concerned, T was elated. I hellovc
unquestionably that was the best
game I have seen in tho era of the
new game. It was magnificent' to
watch- and a great fight all through.
It Is Impossible to compare (lie team
this year with those we had in tho
era of the old game, but I can say
that this team was the best we have
had since the new game has been
played.
DIVINITY CLUB HOLDS MEETING.

Last Friday evening In the Science
room of the Temple, tho Divinity club
held the first meeting of the year.
Nearly all of tho old members, to
gether with several new, "were present
and an Interesting and instructive
time is reported. The University of
Nebraska has no t'leologl.'iil depart
ment, but many students arc studying
philosophy and relative subjects here
with the Idea of going In'o a theolog
ical institute later. The 'Divinity club
was organized last year for tho pur
pose of promoting good fellowship
among these students. Th (.Tub meets
twice a month and listens to i lecture
from some one interested' In this line
of work.
Professor French of the Philosophy
department was the speaker of the ev
ening. He gave an Interesting end in
structive talk on "The Problem of
Christian Theology Today." In his
introductory remarks, Prof. French re
viewed the history of Theology or the
