and a half stretch was entered thoy

from tho othor schools. As tho last
mile wnB entered tho men from Per
due, Chicago, WjBconsIn and Drake
began to run Individually, each man
striving to pass. tho line as sopn as
possible. Scarcely any attention was
paid to team work. The CornhuBkers,
howover, did not let tho nearnoas of
