CADETS OFF TO CAMP.
Battalion Leaves for Annual Encamp
ment at Nebraska City.
Yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock the
cadets assembled in the Armory and
shortly before 3 o'clock they marched
to the Burlington depot to take the
train for Nebraska City, where the
encampment Is being held this year.
The band headed the line of march
and was followed by Companies A,
D, C, and B in order.
The Hospital Corps left Saturday in
order to have the camp In order when
the battalion arrived. The Pershlngs
also started on a cross-country trip
Saturday and were due to arrive last
night. The last report that was heard
of them they were at Eagle. The
next few days will consist of real sol
dier life for the boys. Friday after
noon a sham battle will take place, In
which Company A will hold the post
of honor.
Companies A and B will hold their
individual spell-downs for which the
winner In each company will be pre
sented with a medal by the officers.
Company B will also have a squad
spell-down for a medal.
Arthur Jorgensen is acting as quar
termaster lieutenant.
Dr. R. A. Lyman, Director of the
new School of Pharmacy, has been ap
pointed delegate from the Nebraska
State Medical Association to the Ne
braska -Pharmaceutical Association,
which meets at Omaha, June 16-18.
Dr. Lyman will leave today -to visit
TEe schools of pharmacy in Kansas,
St. Louis, Chicago and Iowa.

Student Publication Board Elects Next
Year's 8taff.
The Student Publication Board met
yesterday afternoon and elected the
staff for next year's "Nebraskan." The
members are as follows: Editor-in-chief,
Clyde E. Elliott; managing edi
tor, Herbert W. Potter; associate edi
tor, Lynn Lloyd; business manager,
George Wallace.
Mr. Elliott was for two semesters
managing editor of the "Nebraskan,"
and Is now working on the State Jour
nal, so Is sure to do all for the paper
that experience and ability will en
able. Mr. Potter was associate edi
tor the first semester of this year and
Mr. JLloydJiaa been athletic editor thlB
semester, while Mr. Wallace ls at
present business manager.
The plan ls to Improve the paper
next year by adding a column to the
width of the page and two or three
Inches to its length.
Mr. Elliott, Mr. Potter, and Mi.
Wallace are members 0f. AJpha Theta
Chi, Mr. Lloyd Is a member of Phi

synopsis of the essay which won him
a Germany scholarship before a spe
cial meeting of the Divinity Club to
day at & o'clock p. m. Mr. Harrison,
also formerly of the University, now
of Chicago Divinity School, will also
give a talk upon "The Training ot the
Minister'

Senior play cast has been practicing
continually and preparations are now
almost complete' for the production of
"The Three Musketeers" at the Oliver
Theater on Tuesday evening, Juno 9.
The tickets will go on sale Thursday
and Friday from lt a. m. to 1 p. in.,

Every year the Senior play proves
to be one of tho most Important enter
tainments of Commencement week
and has always been enthusiastically
supported by the student body and tho
people of Lincoln. iho committee

those who intend to be here and In
tend to attend the play will buy their
tickets immediately. The assessment
for all Seniors is $2, for which they
will receive four tickets, and lt Is ex
pected that they will take advantage
of the situation before, tho sale Is
thrown open to the public.
The play ls one which will bo full
of action, as everyone knows who has
ever read It and the costumes are of
such, an elaborate character that it
was necessary to order them from an
