Lecture by Professor Hlnman New Methods. Between two flres the shouts of the "shirt-tail paraders," which came through the windows and the enchant ing strains of the "iMerry Widow" which floated through the transome from the dance hall the Divinity Club held a very Interesting and Instructive meeting in the University Temple, Fri day evening. The meeting was called to order by .Mr. Scott, who finished his opening re marks by Introducing the speaker of the evening, Professor Hinman. Space does not permit us going into detail concerning the able lecture whlcli was read to the club. His main point, how ever, was that times were changing and the minister to be up-to-date must also change. The people are becoming more and more educated and they nat urally look for higher work from the minister. To correspond with this thange the large seminaries are con stantly moving near to the universities bo that their students may profit by the combined advantages of the two schools. After the lecture arrangements were made for two more addresses, to be given before then end of the school year, one by Mr. Harrison of Chicago University and another by Mr. McDon: aid of Princeton.
