sive Defeats.
Tho baseball team has so far mot
with unruly handling on tho part of
tho teams It has mot. In ovory gamo
so far there has been a bad inning
which has given tho other team Its
chance to win, and this they have not
failed to do.
Yesterday they again lost to Grin
nell In a game which gave every prom
ise of being a victory for tho Corn
huskers, but ragged support of Beltzor
lost them tho victory in tho eighth
inning.
Tho gamo bIiowb a paper victory for
the Scarlet and Cream, as only four
hits were driven by tho Congregation
alists off of Buck Boltzor's speedy de
livery, while Nebraska forced them
to use three pitchers, hitting the ball
for seven Bafo ones during tho game.
The error column explains tho mys
tery. Nebraska drew five, while the
Collegians hobbled but one.
