Sophomore Class Meeting.
"A meeting of tho sophomore class
was hold In Memorial Hall yesterday
morning at which the Ivy Day plan
was explained and ratified. It was
also decided to have a May morning
broakfast sometime In the early part
of next month. Tho following com
mittees woro appointed by President
Ingles:
Ivy Day W. B. Houseworth, chair
man; Kate Fields, Emma Franklin,
Esther Bailey, J. M. Alexander.
May Morning Breakfast Earl
Campbell, Chairman; Kate Fields,
Edna Pierce, Frank Wheolock, . W.
Whitney.
H. O. Porry was appointed captain
of the relay team; Burkett, captain of
the baseball team and Flower, man
ager. Each member will bo required
to pay fifteen cents as his part of tho
Ivy Day expense. An auditing com
mittee for collecting this will be an
nounced later.
Notice to Teachers.
Notlco of examinations to be held
in New York City, September 10, 11,
1908, for the purpose of securing teach
ers for the high schools of the city
has been received by tho registrar.
Salaries range from $700 to $1,900 per
annum.
