Dr. Clapp, D. 0. Mitchell, and H. G.
Schmidt.
Quito a bit of excitement was start
ed around school yesterday by a ru
mor that Dr. Clapp had resigned. He
has been the foundation of athletics
here for so long that tho prospect of
losing him would be very distasteful.'
It was the resignation of Mrs. Clapp
which was handed in. The announce
ment of her resignation meets with
tho Blncere regret of both the. faoulty
and the student body, because her
connection with athletics among the
women has been of very great benefit
both to tho women and to the school.
Her resignation Is effective Septem
ber 1st.
