Mr. Pellant Is a Bpeaker and writer bf considerable ability and his coming is looked upon with much favor by the students in the Bohemian depart ment. The lecture will be given In Univer sity Hall 10G. Every Bohemian stu dent should hear him. Notice, College of Medicine. The faculty of the College of Medi cine in Omaha have voted to extend an invitation to students to isit Omaha Wednesday, April 15, in place of Sat urday, April 11, as originally an nounced. Students who are actually in atten dance on this excursion will bo ex cused from all work in Lincoln without penalty of any kind. I shall be glad to know individually us to those who expect to go. Others will be In at tendance upon regular class exorcises in Lincoln. HENRY B. WARD. Debate in Rhetoric 16. A debate was hold yesterday af ternoon in U. 106 by members of the debating class. The quostlon was: "Resolved, That Nebraska Should Join the Big Nine." Paul Yates and B. M. Cherrlngton upheld the negative, while V. W. Git tings and H. F. Wunder were on the affirmative. Captain Workizer pre sided, and criticised the debate, which was the best given in the course, so far. Freshman Baseball. A Freshman baseball team is being organized. Charles Bennett Is mana ge i and Leslie Hyde Ib acting as Cap tain. The following men tire out: Pierson, Russell, Wilson, Harris, Truke, Smith Friend, Matson, McCar thy, Wood and Waters, Ohmstead and Johnson are out for tho pitching staff. Boxing Class.
