Prof. John Broadus Watson, for five
years in the psychology department
of Chicago University, has accepted
np appointment to the chair of ex
perimental and comparative psychol
ogy In charge of the psychological
laboratory at Johns Hopkins Univer
sity. Dr. Watson will assume the

The Women's Athletic Association
at Michigan will hold Its annual meet
for girls of the university April 8th.
Among the events arranged are:
Thirty-eight yard dash, six-pound shot
put, and rope-climb.
The Maroon Athletic Association
has definitely decided to play Cornell
next fall. The game has been
scheduled for November 14, the date
offered by the Ithacans to Michigan.
Thirteen seniors and five juniors of
California University- were recently
elected 'to Phi Beta Kappa. In addi
tion three of the faculty were made
members of the society.
