Student Patents an Eraser.
William H. Hartley, a former stU
dent In the department of entymology,
at present a teacher In the night
schools of Lincoln, has Invented and
putented an eraser which collects the
dust and stoies It Inside. The pat
ent is estimated to be worth from
ten to twenty thousand dollars and
is cl curly a great improvement over
tho old dust-producing eraser.
Palladian Play.
Another surprise. Tho Mystic

sosion Is the glrls program which
will be given In Palladian Hall next

been closed, because tho management
feared that It would have to be run at
a loss. The Brown Dally Herald as
cribes the falling off of patronage to
the low standards or cleanliness and
unattractlveness which prevailed.
Forestry Lecture.
