Rah" with invigorating effect. The
CornhUBkers took a remarkable brace
and for a while it looked as It they
would overcome the lead of seven
points and -snatch the game from the
fire. The brace came a trifle too late,
however, for the Jayhawkers were
Still two "points In the lead when the
final whistle blew.
The Kansas tenm conies to Lincoln
flushed with the remembranco of re
cent victories and stinging from the
two defeats they have already suf
fered this season at Nebraskas hands.
Last evening's game inakes the sev
enth game they have played on the
present trip and it Is also the sixth
victory thoy have won. The games
they have played on this trip are:
K. U., 34; Kansas City Athletic
Club,- 32.
K. U., 3G; Warrensburg Normal, 16.
K. U., 30; Missouri, 19.
K. U., 26; Missouri, 22.
K. U., 17; Des Moines Y. M. C. A.,

Tonights gam5 promises to be even
more exciting and fiercely contested,
if possible, than was the game last
evening. If Nebraska wins It she
will have a clear title to the MlssoupL
Valley championship, while If Kansas
wins the two schools will have won
two games apiece and the honor will
have to be divided between them.
An informal dance will be given in
the Armory after the game in honor
of the visiting players and a largo
attendance Is anticipated.
