One of tho largest women's meet-,
lngs slnco the organization of the
women'B mass meetings took place
last Sunday afternoon 1n the Lyric
Theatre. Miss Josephine C. Walker,
the returned missionary from China,
gave tho address of the service and
her talk was unusually interesting and
was listened to with considerable en
joyment by every one present. Miss
Walker Is very simple In manner, but
she very ably gives tho .real, practical
side of missionary work In a foreign,
country. Her word pictures are vivid,
especially those of. the peoplo with
whom she -has been associated .for
twenty years, and she s also able to
make her audience feel "at home",
with her subject; and with those
strange people. The service was
made beautiful by the songs of the
First Baptist Church Quartette, con
sisting of Mrs. Enslow, Mrs'. Conant,
and Messrs. Ireland and Agee. Mrs,
Connnt also gave a solo, "Lead Kindly
Light."
Senior Play.
Senior play cast will meet Wednes
day, February ly, at 7. p. niy Music
Hall, Temple.
All studenis not in cast holding
copies of play will please return them
to members of tho committee and re
