At Purdue the faculty council has,
after nine hdlBousalon, decided to
abolish tho annual tank scrap be
tween the freshman and sophomore
classes. The chief ground for this is
because in the opinion of the council
the "scrap has become a meeting
place for large numbers of disorderly
and vicious characters." The tank
scrap is a tradition of long standing
at Purdue.
