Tryouts Saturday.
Tho preliminaries for tle Charter
Pay exercises will be, held, In tho Ar
mory, Saturday, February 8, at 2: a.).
The purpose of this 'tryout Is to cut
down the number of athletes who can
participate on Charter Day, so that
only contestants of the first class may
enter.
Tho number of contestants that may
enter Charter Day events is as follows:
In tho sprints, eight; and in all oilier
events tho fence vault, polo vault,
running high kick, running high jump,
shot put, and rope climb, tho number
is limited to four.
Aspirants may pracllco this after
noon at four o'clock.
The committee in charge of the
Company "13" Hop have announced
that It will be held March 27th at
Fraternity Hall and Walt's Orchestra

will furnish the music. Company "B"
In the only company of the battalion
having social organization. It 'holds
a dance and a banquet each year. S.

Freshman Hop.
The Freshman Hop will bo held at
the Lincoln, Friday evening, March
13. Abbott's orchestra has been en
gaged for the occasion. Tickets will
be $2.00 and the number sold is to
be absolutely limited to eighty-five. It
