At Convocation (in thb gallery last
Tuesday, January 14 1908) sat two big
husky University men, while a solo
recital was being beautifully rendored.
They ought to have known better, but
Instead they cast rude remarks, talked
h loud tones and wore a continual an
noyance to the audience and to the
singer. .
Now, Convocation is certainly not
n place to poke fun und cast remarks
of Impoliteness at the speakers or
singers,. Wo are gratefully Indebted,
to the kind people who are so obliging
and willing to entertain us. It moans
'hanrwork for them and we ought to
show great respect toward them. If
such men nB thiesc two 'cannot, behavo
why don't they stay out and keep out.
If they want -to bo vain fourteen-year
old rowdleB lot them go whore they be
long. It Is deplorable that It musl
happen onco in a while even among
University men. ' .
