English Literature.
The teacher's course in EngllBh Lan
guage and Litorature will be given
next semester. The courso includes a
pinctlcal study of methods, school vis
itation and the organization and adap
tation of material for all grades. Two
hours credit. Tuesday and Thursday,
2:00 p. m. L. 311.
Assistant Professor Stuff.
At the next women's meeting, Janu
ary, 19, MIbs Elizabeth Harris, trav
eling secretary for the Student Volu
toers, will be present and will ad
dress tho meeting. The services will
be held jointly by the City, Wesloyan,
High School, State Farm and Univer
sity Associations. Special music by
Miss -Rayner and several soloists has
been arranged.
Dr. Fling Is now reading proof for
tho first volume of hlB work, "Mlra
beau and the French Revolution." Tho
first volume will bo entitled "The
Youth of Mlabeau," and is being pub
lished by Putnam of New York. It
will be rather a large volume of about
five hundred and fifty pngCB, and will
contain several Illustrations.
