Be Here 8oon.
Nineteen associations, known as the
Nebraska State Agricultural Associa
tions, will m?et in Lincoln January
20-25. The most Important of these
are the Nebraska Poultry Association,
the Nebraska State Horticultural So
ciety, the Association of Agricultural
Students, and the Nebraska Com
Growers' Association. There ar? also
numerous breeders' associations.
The committee on arrangements has
spared m labor to present a program
which will hold the Interest of the al
lied associations from beginning to
end. Many specialists In agricultural
pursuits have boen engaged for ad
dresses. Among the Nebraskans who
will speak are Chancellor Andrews,
University Regent Coupland, ex-Governor
W. P. Poynter, E. M. Little, su
perintendent of the Nebraska Experi
ment Station, Prof. C. E. Bosssy,' and
Governor Georgo L. Shoidbn.
Stock judging exhibitions will be
held' at the Judging pavilion at tho
State Farm. A butter, milk and cheese
exhibit will be open in tho dairy build
ing throughout. the woek. Tho usual
beautiful exhibit of flowers and fruit
will bo made by the horticulturists.
Other exhibitions will be the wlntor
corn show and the boys' and girls'
corn and cooking contests.
On' Friday evening Governor and
Mrs. Sheldon will glvo a reception
to the members of tho various asso
ciations. . 'Excursions to points pf in
terest in and about Lincoln are pro
vided for the amusement of -the Junior
organizations.

with such care that tiro bones were
left sticking out In perfect condition.
This piece of rock, about six feet long
and four feet high, was boxed up and
sent to. Lincoln. It was placed In an
oak case in the museum and now af-"
fords the only opportunity In the world
of seeing Just how tho bones are. found
In nature. The rock comes from Sioux
county, Nebraska.
The bad land corkscrews have been
arranged in two great cases at oppo
site .ends of the second iloor. The
hack and bottom of the cases hayo
been arranged to represent as nearly
as .possible tho appearance of tho bad
' lands. Around the bases of tho cork
screws .the plants, familiar In the bad
lands will be arranged.
