To Advocate Esperanto.
The delegate of the University of
Chicago to the tirst convention of the
Association of Cosmopolitan Clubs has
been Instructed to urge the adoption
of Esperanto as the ofllcial language
of the association.
Gives College 100 Cats.
A patron of Colorado College has
endowed .that Institution with a hun
dred pedigree cats. This man, no less
a personage than Major Hall of Colo
rado Springs, is enthusiastically an ad
vocate of cat culture.
The student body at the University
oMowa -will institute a Student-Union
for the purpose ot bringing the stu
dents in closer touch with each other,
and steps are bbing taken to secure
the erection of a building for the ben
efit of the members of the union.
