customed to think only of them
and rather disregarding tho intor
class teams. Doth departments have
their parts to play tho one gives
among other things tho University
recognition from other schools and
tho thor is a strong faction in cement
ing together tho student body. It is
to bo hoped that tho interost In theso
games continuos undimiBhed and that
all who can well mnko an effort to
attend. The price of admission Is
merely nominal and should be no rea
son for staying away.

known Kansas tactics and tho fact
that they do not know or at least so
ono must believo, that It Is much moro

such a flimsy excuso as tho abovo. In
caso Nebraska suffers a defeat at the
hands of St. "Louis it is to bo hoped
that such a .spirit of fairness will be
shown, that will at least not permit
a misrepresentation of tho facts.

chief Justice of the college of law su

Clyde C McWhlnnoy, 1908, law,
1908, of Lincoln, who won ono of tho
first your scholarship prizes in the
collego of law last year, and who
wns a member of the debate squad

the team which debated with the uni
versity of Wisconsin last April. Ho
Is a member of (he Phi (Alpha Tau
and Phi Delta Phi fraternities.
Joseph M. Swenson, 1908, of Omaha
who was a member of the team that
defeated Washington Univorslty In his
freshman year, and who was an al
ternate on the tenm that dobated with
Wisconsin in 190G and a member of
tho team which met Washington here
last spring. Ho is a membor of Phi
Alpha Tau nnd Delta Sigma Itho.
Lawrenco J. Weaver, 1910, of Bea
trice, who was a member of tho uni
versity defeating, squad' of 1906-1907. Ho
Is a member of Alpha Theta Chi.

1910, of Maxwell. Ho was editor of
tho Dally Nobraskan 1905-1906, was
principal of the Ohiowa high school
last year, and Is a member of Alpha
