One of the first events to take place in the University Temple will bo the dedication of Palladian Hall ,whlch is set for 'November 8. The society haB Issued letters of Invitation to all alumni and associate members whoso addresses were known, and expects a large attendance. The now hall will bo beautifully furnished and will be UBed for a part of the program. Tho special feature of tho evening will be a banquet, which will be held in the original 'Palladian hall, the one used by tho Boclety thirty years ago. After this leave-taking the guests will re turn to the Temple and will then see that the Palladian spirit is properly planted In the now soil. " The student council of tho Universi ty of Michigan has made an agree ment with tho chief of police to the offect that the council will consltute a court of Inquiry to try students charged with minor offenses, and will mete out such punishment as the coun cilhien deem tho case warrants.
