This Is the fourth season. The first year, 1901, Nebraska was victor, followed In 1005 by Chicago, and again securing the cup In 190G. This cup becomes the permanent property of the institution winning it three times; which means Nebraska has to win this year in order to get the trophy. Of tho cross-country men, three of the old team are here again this year: Havens, who finished first In last year's meet, and Alden and Davis, two of the other five composing the team. Smith and Morgan have graduated and are no longer here, leaving two places to be filled. At present, squad practise is some what irregular, but after Tuesday regular periods will be assigned ac cording to the convenience of the men. All men who can run should come at 11:00 a. m. on Tuesday. Classes In physical education have been delayed this year, but all classes will start as soon as the steel lockers, now under process of erection, are up. Unless notices to the contrary are posted, lockers will be assigned ,from 10 to 11:30 on Monday. All lockers, whether In use at present or not, must be signed for at this time if possible.
