Drake University has added another
department to its list of courses. A
school for the training of nurses is
the latest college In the Des Moines
institution.
Preparations are being made at
Princeton college for tho annual fall
meet. This will be on October 15, and
is for tho purpose of trying out the
freshmen and getting a lino on mater
ial for the spring's work.
Grlnnell is Very enthusiastic over
their football prospects for this sea
son. Scarlet and Black supporters are
circulating the report that their eleven
will be stronger than for many sea
sons, and consequently they are an
ticipating a string of victories.
