John Spencer, who was in school last
year, 'specializing in mining engineer
ing, is with the American Smelting and
Refining company at Aquascolienter,
Mexico.
Minnesota has Issued a call for
cross country men, and if sufficient
interest is shown a team will be sent
to Chicago to compete against the
other western colleges Thanksgiving
day.
John L. Sundean, one of the fusion
candidates for regent, graduated from
the College of Law in the University
of Nebraska in 1895. He has the dis
tinction of being the only graduate of
this institution runnilng for the office
of regent this year.
