About thirty-live new students were present, besides many visitors, including the Catholic clergy of the city and Pro fessor Caldwell. An address of welcome was deliver ed by .John C. .Maguire, 1S08. Short talks were given by Rev. .M. A. Shine, T. F. Doyle and others. ' The musical part of the program consisted ot several vocal and Instru mental numbers by members of the club.
