Ray 'Gould and wife of Omaha have been seen on the campus this week. Mr. Gould is a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. 'The Peru Normal football team will meet the Cornhuskers Saturday, Sep tember 2, in the opening contest of the i local gridiron season. Clement Waldron, Phi Gamma Delta, who attended the law school at Wis consin last year has registered for law at Nebraska this fall. Herbert Myers, editor of the 1907 Cornhusker, has gone into politics and la the republican candidate for as se&sor of Custer county. Miss Katherine Lumry, who taught at AlcCook last year, will have charge of the German work in the Fargo, North Dakota, high school. In the near future Librarian Wyer will deliver a Berles of addresses on Bibliography to the students register ed In the Graduate School.
