The Senior law students at Minne eota have protested against wearing caps and gowns at graduation, This conventional attire, they say, is ef feminate and not becoming to men. President Northrup of the university, says that he does not disapprove of the action and that the only students who really get their money's worth out of tho garments are the girls of tho Academic department. Faculty to Control. The financial administration of ath letics at the University of Wisconsin has been placed under the direct con trol of the faculty, approved by the Board of Regents. This has been de cided by tho executive committee of the Board of Regents, in -a rulewhlch reads: "The financial management of athletics shall be entirely in the con trol of the faculty."
