In the General Agricultural group.
This was dono with n view to laying
out a more practical course and one
that would more nearly moot tho
needs of the average student.
Tho groupj Is designed to meet tho
needs of two classes, those who do
slro to make practical application of
their training In tho management of
land or in Investigation, and those
who deslro to prepare themselves for
teachers in high schools or colleges.
Technical subjeqts which hequlro lit
tle or no preliminary sclqnce are first
taken up. Those requiring correlated
science follow or accompany such sci
ence. Tho first three years of tho
course familiarize the student with
general and fundamental agricultural
principles. The fourth year Is largoly
elective. Students electing this
group should have had preparatory
natural and physical science. College
graduates of science courses can
usually completo the course In two
years.
