Besides the stu dents and the professors of the depart ment, a number of former students and graduates were present, among them Mr. Blckerstaff of Kansas City and Vorne Hedge, an B. B. graduate of a few years ago. s The banquet was served in seven courses, while the toast list consisted of six numbers; C. C. McWllllams, as toastmastcr, handled the program in IiIh usual clever way. All of the toasts abounded in clear, strong idens and considerable wit. The subjects wero as follows: "The Theoretical Side," O. N. M.unn; "Ambitions," Geo. L. Hedges; "Making Connections," C. G. Johnson; "Transition," Prof. Richards; "Nebraska Engineering Society," L. K Ncedham; a general talk by Verne Hedge, a former B. E. graduate. After the completion of the toasts, each of tho professors of the departments was called upon for Impromptu talks and responded generously. Tho members speak highly of the committee who arranged the banquot, and especially of H. B. Berqulst, chair man of the committeo,, for tho excollent planning of tho function. Sole Agents for D. & M.
