Catlin, a resi dent of Peru, Neb., and a graduate of the University of Nebraska of tho Class of 1903. Tho Columbia fellow ships, of which twenty are awarded each year, aro among tho most highly prized academic honors in tho United States and the selections aro made from a large number of candidates. What Shall We Do? In an article on "Some Curious Col lego Courses" the Kansas City Star makes tho following sincere remark about the college schools of journal ism: Several of the universities have schools of journalism, but as a rule tho young men who attend those courses know less .about journalism at the time of graduation than oven tho profesors who teach It.
