seventy of tho students registered are
"non-frat" men. This Is tho smallest
number of students that over register
ed for an Athletic Board election at
this school.
There will bo onjy one ticket In the
field this year, since the "Barbs" at
their meeting Friday afternoon decided
not to nominate any men for the Ath
letic Board positions. Tho "Barbs"
refuse to give their approbation to tho
presont method of filling th,o positions
and claim they will not participate In
tho Athletic Board campaigns until a
new election system is adopted.
Tho Fraternity men are now busy
fixing up a slate that will bo accept
able) to all tho "Frats" and will an
nounce their Mcket within a few days.
Tho failure of the "Barbs" to nomi
nate a ticket means that this year's
election will be an apathetic one. The
date for the election has not been set
as yet and will bo announced, later
sometime this week., '
